The Everest area is situated in eastern
Nepal. It is protected by the Sagarmatha
National Park, established in 1976 with
an area of 1148 square kilometers. The
park is largely composed of the rugged
terrain and gorges of the high
Himalayas. Altitude ranges from 2845
meters above sea level to the top of the
world, Mt. Everest at 8848 meters.
Guarded by some of the highest and most
beautiful mountains of the world, this
homeland of the Sherpa people who
migrated from Tibet in the 14th and
early 15th century. Followers of
Buddhism, they celebrate Losar, Dumje
and Mani Rimdu along with other
festivals. Sherpa's will leave a
dramatic, unforgettable impression on
you. Follow in the footsteps of
legendary mountaineers who scaled Mount
Everest and experience the spellbinding
magic of the world's highest mountains
and its glorious environment. An
incomparable blend of ancient's
monasteries, former important trading
post, serene village, rushing rivers and
sequences of the most spectacular
panoramas are only a handful out of this
astonishing region.
The popular destination points for
mountains sceneries are called
Kalapathar, Chhukung RI, and Basecamp
and Gokyo peak provide panoramic views
of mountains and you will be surrounded
by over 65 peaks of 6000 meters.
The area also offers a large mammals
commonly seen in the park are the
Himalayan thar and musk deer. Somewhat
less common are the Himalayan black
bear, common languor, jackal, weasel and
the Himalayan mouse hare and a lush
habitat for over 118 species of birds in
forest. In Everest area, you should
allow between 5 days to 28 days to trek.
The elevation of the trails rises from
1955 m. to 5550 m. above sea level.

itinerary (Drive in fly out)
Day 01:
Arrival at Tribhuban International
Airport and pick up you by our private
vehicle and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02:
Kathmandu to Jiri (1955m) 5 hours drive
by bus 149 km.
Day 03:
After breakfast Start trek to Deurali
(2735m) 5 hrs.
Day 04:
Deurali to Sete (2645m) 5 hrs.
Day 05:
Sete to Junbensi (2640m) 5 hrs.
Day 06:
Junbesi to Nunthala (2440m) 5 hrs.
Day 07:
Nunthala to Kharikhola (2020m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 08:
Kharikhola to Pyau (2700m) 6 hrs.
Day 09:
Pyau to Phakding (2640m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 10:
Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m) 5 hrs.
Day 11:
Rest day in Namche Bazzar.
Day 12:
Namche Bazzar to Tengbuche (3850m) 5
hrs.
Day 13:
Tengbuche to Dingbuche (4350m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 14:
Dingbuche to Lobuche (4930m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 15:
Lobuche to Gorekshep (5154m) and climb
to Kalapatar (5545m) and back to
Gorekshep 5 hrs.
Day 16:
Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp (5350m)
then back to Gorekshep 5 hrs.
Day 17:
Gorekshep to Zongla 4760m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 18:
Zongla cross (Chola Pass) 5420m to
Thagna (4500m) 5 hrs.
Day 19:
Thagna to Gokyo (4730m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 20:
Morning climb to Gokyo peak then return
back to Gokyo (5430m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 21:
Gokyo to Luza (4350m) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 22:
Luza to Namche Bazzar (3440) 5 ½ hrs.
Day 23:
Namche Bazzar to Lukla (2840m) 6 hrs.
Day 24:
45 minutes fly back to Kathmandu (1300m)
Rest of the time for shopping.
Day 25:
Final departure to your country. |
