Panchase & Poon
Hill Trek (10 Days)
Panchase is the highest hill of this
region and lies on the south-west side
of Pokhara bordering Kaski on the east,
Parbat on the west and Syangja on the
south. It is also a religious site that
in many occasions Hindu Pilgrimages
visit Panchase. Recently, a Panchase
development committee has been formed
for its multi sectoral development.
Panchase is also being developed as a
Pancha Dham. It rare vegetation like
medicinal plants. The thick forest and
wildlife are also worth seeing. The top
of Panchase in the best point to have a
long panoramic view of Himalaya and
green valleys and terraces of midhill
Nepal . There are different trails to go
to Panchase and all are equally
comfortable and interesting. The village
settlements are also eve catching.
This trek is measured as a non-technical
trek and suitable for all kind of
people. If you are fairly fit and have a
sense of adventure you will enjoy this
trek. The trek is easy walking and not
required altitude consciousness.
As the trek is designed for camping
arrangement, everything is handled by
our team of porters, sherpas and cooks
who carry the equipment, set up the
camp.
Outline
Itinerary
Day 01:
Arrival at Tribhuban International
Airport and pick up you by our private
vehicle and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02:
Drive to Pokhara (approx. 6 hr) and
overnight camp at the side of Fewa Lake.
Day 03:
Drive half an hour to Khare khola and
start trek to Bumti-2200m (4 hr).
Day 04:
Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang-2800m (5-6
hr).
Day 05:
Early morning visit Panchase hill-3000m
for the great view sun rise, trek down
to Dimuwa-1500m (5-6 hr).
Day 06:
Trek upward to Dobato- 2500m (6-7 hr).
Day 07:
Trek to Jaljale-3500m (5-6 hr).
Day 08:
Trek to Fulbari-2800m (4-5 hr).
Day 09:
Early morning visit Poon-hill-3200m and
trek to Tirkhedhunga (5-6 hr).
Day 10:
Trek to Nayapul (3 hr) and drive back to
Pokhara and overnight at Hotel.
Day 11:
Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus or
30 minutes flight.
Day 12:
Final departure to your country home. |
