Day 02
Leave for Besham via
Karakoram Highway
Silk route. Enroute
visit Taxila museum
and excavation
sites. Overnight
stay in Besham.
Day 03
Leave for Gilgit
(8-hrs drive)
Enroute visit
Shatial and Chillas
rock carvings on the
Karakoram Highway.
Overnight stay in
Gilgit.
Day 04
Rest day in Gilgit.
Day Excursion to
Naltar, a beautiful
mountain resort.
Back to Gilgit for
the night.
Day 05
Leave for Hunza
valley travelling on
the Karakorum
Highway (3 hrs
drive) Overnight
stay in Karimabad/Aliabad.
Day 06
Morning: Visit to
Altit and Baltit
forts, back to Motel
for lunch. After
lunch visit Hopper
village in Nagar
valley. Back to
Karimabad/Aliabad
for the night.
Day 07
Leave for Upper
Hunza Valley. Day
spent at Gulmit.
Afternoon leave for
Sust - the last
check post on
Pakistan side.
