Taxila to see the
Buddhist heritage of

lower Margalla

Departure for
Peshawar by road.
Arrival at Peshawar.
Check in at Hotel.
Day 04
Morning city tour of
Peshawar. Tour
includes visits to
Peshawar Museum.
Qissa Khawani Bazaar
(or street of
storytellers).
Afternoon tour of
Khyber Pass. This
historic pass has
served as the
gateway to the major
conquerors of
Indo-Pak. Overnight
stay at Peshawar.
Day 05
Departure by coach
for Swat. En route
stop at Takht-i-Bahi
which is an ancient
Buddhist monastery
dating back to 540
A.D. Check in at
Motel in Saidu
Sharif. Afternoon
visit to Swat
Museum, overnight
stay in Saidu Sharif.
Day 06
Departure for
Miandam and Kalam.
Lunch at Kalam.
Group returns to
Miandam for
overnight stay.
Day 07
Coach departure over
Shangla Pass to
Besham and onwards
to Gilgit with
packed lunch.
Afternoon visit
to Shatial and Chilas.
Overnight stay in
Gilgit.
Day 08
Full day sightseeing
of Gilgit including
its bazaars.
Day 09
Departure for Hunza.
Sightseeing all
along the route
which is surrounded
by some of the
tallest mountains in
the world and
dominated by the
Rakaposhi peak.
Hunza is itself
known for the
longevity of its
residents. Group
visits famous forts.
Overnight stay at
Karimabad/Aliabad.
Day 10
Day excursion to
upper Hunza Valley
upto Sust village
and back to
Karimabad for the
night.
Day 11
Departure for
Gilgit. Afternoon
witness Polo match
especially arranged
for the group.

Leave for Skardu,
Overnight in Skardu
(5-hrs. drive).

Visit Satpara lake
and Kachura lake.
