Miandam and Kalam.

Group returns to

Coach departure over
Shangla Pass to
Besham and onwards
to Gilgit with
packed lunches.
Afternoon visit to
Shatial and Chillas
to see the rock
carvings. Overnight
stay in Gilgit.
Day 09
Departure for Hunza.
Sightseeing all
along the route,
which is surrounded
by some of the
tallest mountains in
the world, and
dominated by the
Rakaposhi peak.
Hunza is itself
known for the
longevity of the
residents. Overnight
stay at Karimabad/Aliabad.
Day 10
Full day excursion
of upper Hunza
valley up to Sust.
Overnight stay in
Karimabad/Aliabad
Day 11
Departure for
Gilgit. Afternoon,
witness polo match
especially arranged
for the group. Polo
originated in Gilgit
and is still found
there in its
roughest form.
Overnight stay in
Motel, Gilgit.

By road to Besham

Besham to Rawalpindi
