days Bhairav Kunda Trek [4250 m.]
Bhairav Kunda Bhairav Kunda - means in a
holy lake named after a destructive name
of lord Shiva the "Bhairav". The "Bhairav
Kunda" is located to the northeast of
Kathmandu and next right to Panch
Pokhari and closer to Nepal - Tibet
boundary. After breakfast we take a bus
ride out of the Valley and up through
the hills. After 41/2 hours bus ride we
arrive at the trek starting point called
Jalbire. Jalbire is a traditional small
town full of "Newari" culture. We are
going to spend the first night of our
outdoor adventure right nearby small "Newari"
town of Jalbire. Our Guide gives a
briefing of trekking on the first night.
He also explains about the altitude
sickness and all the beautiful spots
from where you can see an excellent view
of mountains.During the rest of our 13
days trip, you will observe the
different ways of life, culture passing
through the dense forestations and
grazing lands. The top of Bhairab Kund
offers an admirable view of Rolwaling
range, Jugal himal and some mountains of
Tibet as well. On the last day of the
trip we take a bus ride back to
Kathmandu from Larche.
Day to Day
Itinerary
Day 01:
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to
Hotel/Welcome dinner.
Day 02:
Sightseen in Kathmandu valley. (1310m).
Day 03:
Kathmandu (1350m.) - Jalbire (1000m.)
Drive by Bus.
Day 04:
Jalbire - Chanaute (1350m.).
Day 05:
Chanaute - Khani Gaon (2000m.).
Day 06:
Rest day with Local Village sightseeing.
Day 07:
Khani Gaon - Forest Camp (3150m.).
Day 08:
Forest Camp - Pati (3765m.).
Day 09:
Pati - Bhairab Kunda (4250m.).
Day 10:
Bhairab Kunda - Sherpa gaon (2500m.)
After Sunrise view.
Day 11:
Sherpa gaon - Larcha (1500m.) and visit
Tato pani/ Hot spring on highway.
Day 12:
Larcha – Return back to Kathmandu by
bus.
Day 13:
Leisure day for shopping in Kathmandu.
Day 14:
Final Depature to your country. |
