Day
01
Arrive Kathmandu. Assistance on arrival
and transfer to hotel.
Day 02
Kathmandu - Half day sightseeing of
Pashupati and Boudhnath. The Pashupati
is the holiest Hindu pilgrimage in
Nepal. There are linga images of Shiva
along with statues, shrines and temples
dedicated to other deities in the
complex. Bouddhanath is among the
largest stupas in South Asia, & it has
become the focal point of Tibetian
Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms
thirty-six meters overhead. Later
sightseeing of Patan, an ancient city
situated on the southern bank of the
river Bagmati and is about 5 kms
southeast of Kathmandu. The city is full
of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples
with fine bronze gateways, guardian
deities and wonderful carvings. Half day
sightseeing of Kathmandu and Swayambhu.
The Kathmandu Valley has an exotic
setting. It is surrounded by a tier of
green mountain wall above which tower
mighty snow-capped peaks. The history of
the Valley according to the legends,
begins with Swayambhu, or the "the self
existent". Swayambhu is, perhaps, the
best place to observe the religious
harmony in Nepal. The stupa is among the
most ancient in this part of the world.
The largest image of the Sakyamuni
Buddha in Nepal is in a monastery next
to the stupa.
Day 03
Kathmandu / Chtitwan - After breakfast
departure to Safari Narayan Lodge in
Chitwan. Afternoon full of jungle
activities and later overnight at Safari
Narayan Lodge.
Day 04
Chitwan A day full of jungle activities.
Among the 14 national parks and wildlife
reserves in the Kingdom, the Royal
Chitwan Park is the most popular safari
destination. More than 43 species of
animals are found in Chitwan. The
endangered one-horned rhino, Royal
Bengal tiger, Gharial crocodile,
four-horned antelope, striped hyena &
the Gangetic dolphin are the main
attractions. Many adventurers also
choose to go down to Chitwan by raft. A
jungle safari is an experience you will
remember for a long time.
Day 05
Chitwan / Pokhara -After breakfast
departure for Pokhara. Afternoon
excursion to Phewa Lake. The Phewa Lake
the second largest lake in the Kingdom,
is the center of all attraction in
Pokhara. It is the most enchanting of
the three lakes that add to the
resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one can
sail or row a hired boat a cross to the
water or visit the island temple in its
middle.
Day 06
Pokhara / Kathmandu-Morning sightseeing
of Pokhara town. Pokhara is Kathmandu's
center of adventure. An enchanting city
nestled in a tranquil valley. Pokhara is
a place of remarkable natural beauty.
The serenity of Phewa Lake & the
magnificence of the fish tailed summit
of Manhhapuchhre rising behind it create
an ambience of peace and magic. The
valley surrounding Pokhara is home to
thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald
lakes, and of course the world famous
views of the Himalaya. Afternoon
transfer to the airport for a return
flight to Kathmandu.
Day 07
Kathmandu Meeting and assistance to the
airport for return flight.
